CT/MA - looking for recommendation

Looking for recommendation of a letterbox in CT or MA to
break up a long drive. These criteria would be ideal --
* 2-4k trail run - flat - minimal rock
* rural/wooded
* easy access from I84 (CT) or I495 (north of mass pike)
* well hidden, recently placed, not "drive-by" or high traffic area
Replies off-list are fine (unless there are others out
there with this specific request :-))
Thx in advance,
Randy (mailto:randy@mapsurfer.com)

For those cutting across CT on I-84, there are almost too many
letterboxes to choose from. West of the CT River, here are a batch:

East of the river, by all means hit some of the 50 or more
letterboxes Carol (Leader of the Pack) and friends have placed around
Mansfield/Storrs at

Randy, I think the one that meets your criteria best may be Walk
Through Geologic Time (by Elmer and family). I hear it's a jewel:
could we meet there and do it together? Promise I'll try to keep up
with the world champion orienteer/trail runner!
